The New Curriculum, as well as ensuring that we offer a good overall education, has an emphasis on children's health, wellbeing and cultural identity.
Modern, flexible learning
HWB
Hwb is a Welsh Government provision, which provides learning resources for education professionals, students and parents.
Every child is issued with a Hwb email address and password when they start with us.

There is a wealth of resources available on Hwb, including online safety advice and information about the new curriculum, which can be accessed without an email/username.
Google Classroom
Google Classroom is another system which offers multiple benefits. It can be accessed via pupils' Hwb accounts, and we use it for posting homework, sharing class information and for hosting parent consultations.
Accelerated Reader & myON
Accelerated Reader is used in conjunction with myON for tracking reading and comprehension. Pupils read Accelerated Reader rated books and take quizzes via myON. They are given a reading range based on their ability and the system enables them to progress at the correct level.
Parents/Carers can use AR Home Connect to view their child's progress.
Big Maths
Big Maths is a web-based numeracy scheme which helps pupils to progress by identifying learning gaps
